Dr Juan Manuel Mejia Arangure

Dr. Juan Manuel Mejía-Aranguré is a Mexican physician with Master in Sciences (Epidemiology) and PhD degree (Clinical Epidemiology). All his studies were done at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM; National University Autonomous of Mexico).
He has published 88 scientific articles focused on cancer in children, particularly, in the field of acute leukaemias. He has edited two books on the origin of acute leukemias in children and has written 16 book chapters.
Professor of Clinical Research Methodology Course at the UNAM for 22 years. Currently, he is the Head of the Interrelationships Research Department at the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social. Dr. Mejía-Aranguré is the Founder and the Principal Leader of the MEXICAN INTER-INSTITUTIONAL GROUP FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE CAUSES OF CHILDHOOD LEUKEMIA (MIGICCL).
